Just came here to post the same thing. I havent seem any form of snow in Florida since I was 8. Pretty neat.

It was pretty odd with it only being low 40s at the time. Cool though. I was outside smoking (and my night time cigar, I think my fingers about froze when it was already at 34 and windy)....opened the door and told the kid to come outside. She was annoyed because I wouldn't tell her why. That changed pretty quick.

It was what, 90 when we had the tiny bit of snow and assloads of ice all over the roads?

I have a white high school acquaintance whose son ended up playing baseball at FAMU. Was always afraid to ask if he got any kind of whites-only scholarships in addition to what I presume was an athletic scholarship.

I was recruited to play there, never considered it, they were actively recruiting whites for baseball, that was a century ago, was a long way for my horse & buggy.
