BHO just said Geithner had nothing to do with the AIG mess

misinformed or just a liar? why would he say that?

he said it at a presser just now before heading out to california...geithner headed the NY Fed when all the bailout talks between the prior administration and AIG/Goldman occurred.

guessing that's why there's a movement for geithner to resign.

Yea, Geithner is in over his head...after all, he just hired CITIGROUP's chief economist. I mean, did we not see how much Paulson fucked us in the ass by bailing out his former employer both directly and indirectly?
