this is stuff from a conversation between myself and majorgator. I don't think he's put all of it (any of it?) out for mass consumption, yet, so don't take it as total gospel (hence the thread title).

That said, I've thrown back several beers on occassion with Major and have talked with him enough to know his connections are usually pretty good.

Here's what he had to say:

Reid committed to UGA from what he's hearing from his UGA contacts. He thinks UGA will get Jawanza Starling (CB out of Tallahassee) as well. Jelani Jenkins is a Gator. He thinks the same of Orson Charles and Trent Richardson. He also said UGA doesn't feel good about Jarvis Jones (good news for us). As I type this Jason Higdon is on the phone with Jarvis Jones...we'll see if anything comes of it.

Bill told me today about Reid...said that he committed last year after our abysmal season in our secondary. Now that we are stacked he's had a change of attitude. He also heard there may be issues with his grades and he wouldn't have gotten into UF anyway...and he may not make it into UGA...not sure if any of that was true though (about the grades).
