Good points. But I don't want to be number 1 now, I want to be number 1 at the end of the season.
Assuming we do win out, which I think is very likely, I would like nothing more than seeing us knock Saban off of his smug pedestal in Atlanta. Of course, LSU may beat Bama.
One thing I do find intersting - none of the Game Day guys picked an SEC team to win the BCS. And all of their predictions are now busted.

If the devil had a name, it'd be Chuck Finley.

I agree. I don't want to be highly ranked at all. I wish we were floating around number 10 or something until the SECCG.
It would be great to beat Bama but they're one team I just can't see us beating. But I've been pretty much wrong about this team for most of the season so who knows?

I don't mind it because I think this team and the coaching staff won't let it get to them. It does put a bigger target on us though but I believe we can handle that. We won't face a tougher defense than what we've faced all year.
