I'm all about the science. But that's my reaction to the recent confirmation that the Higgs boson does exist.
I've read a bunch of articles about it, and I still don't know why I should care. The discovery will have no impact on my life, or the lives of my grandchildren, as far as I can tell.

I'm in the don't give a shit category too Doc.
“The Knave abideth.” I dare speak not for thee, but this maketh me to be of good comfort; I deem it well that he be out there, the Knave, being of good ease for we sinners.

Should make for some good comments on Big Bang Theory.

Alright, I'll dissent. I agree that the discovery of a particle already thought to exist is not that earth shattering. I'm interested in seeing what its discovery will lead to. The claim is that we'll learn more about the creation of the universe which could have some cool ramifications.
Or it could lead to the discovery of more cool shit like silly putty or aluminum foil and shit.
