“The Knave abideth.” I dare speak not for thee, but this maketh me to be of good comfort; I deem it well that he be out there, the Knave, being of good ease for we sinners.

He said he was unaware of the racial stereotype that black people like watermelons.

Then what did he think it meant? Why would he send it?

^^^I was going to rant on about what a rag that Huffington Post is and how you can't believe anything you read in it! LOL

But seriously, I was thinking the same as Doc...if he wasn't aware of the stereotype, then WHY send it? They never explained what point he was attempting to get across? Maybe he was saying something about how the White House will get taken over by farmers? and he just picked watermelons as a crop? Of course, I don't believe that but the article didn't have the answer.
Okay, let's try this!

I agree with everything m7 just said.

Huffington Post is awful. But, if the story was true then i'm not buying that weak ass apology.

How could he not know about the watermelon thing? Dumbass.
Oh, and by the way, Joey- for someone who touts a basketball program that won under an era of apartheid with a coach named Adolf, you sure do seem racially sensitive.
I think I'll sing now!

Im glad you know the old lyrics. That Stephen F Foster was one racist sob wasn't he. I wasn't born until Joe B. was the coach and Jack Givens was lighting up Duke for 41.
