it still bothers me that the shorts have the checkerboard pattern. jockey silks are shirts. jockeys all wear solid pants, no colors.

So they're basing their basketball uniforms, a sport with tall men, after jockey uniforms, a sport with tiny little men. I bet that will help recruiting.

OK, I clicked. The pattern, colors, etc don't bother me at all. BUT, the length is ridiculous. Honestly, I'm a fat, old lady, and I wouldn't wear something that would make me look like that.

I was hoping that the length of the basketball shorts would start coming up a little, not longer. It just looks so silly, has looked so silly, and I know all the college teams wear them long. I wouldn't want them as short as they were in the 70's, but mid thigh would be just fine with me. [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_cool.gif[/img]

The only thing I don't like is the ghosted (?--help me out, Kyle) checkerboard on the uniform.
