Day 5 featured more one-on-one tackling drills than any of the previous sessions, which meant running backs getting stopped in their tracks and linebackers getting juked out of their shoes.

The defense won again, getting pressure on the second-team offense and intercepting the first-team offense.

Don’t miss the photo of Tim Tebow striking a familiar stiff-arm pose during a play.

Following practice, Urban Meyer and some of the players enjoyed a cookout sponsored by the African-American Accountability Alliance and the University of Florida football team. The cookout was part of a mentoring program that partners a young African-American male with a Florida football player. Former Gator Terry Jackson, who heads the alliance’s task force known as BLAQUE (Bold Leaders, Achieving Quality, Unity and Excellence), began the program after speaking with Meyer about young at-risk males.

The images of Cameron Newton, Maurkice Pouncey and Urban Meyer enjoying their time with the boys will surely bring a smile to your face.

No idea but that kid with the dreads is big.

I see that Wondy still hasn't figured out how to turn around to see the ball in the air when defending a receiver.

they may be listed name wise in the practice reports, if not, I can figure it out when I can get to a personal computer, and thus access GC.

The guy with the long dreads is Dyron Dye. He was there with teammates Ray Ray Armstrong and Andre Debose (the smaller guy who we really need in the O&B)...here's some of his footage:

^the defenses suck and on the 2 or 3 sweeps left that i saw before i shut it down, he ran w/the ball in the wrong hand.

he DOES throw a better spiral than teb0w at least.

Dead on...someone need sto teach that kid about carrying the ball in the outside hand. And not palming it in traffic.
