You know, I don't know if Ben knows about Desmond or not. I don't think the two ever really met, and Desmond was not on Oceanic 815. He got shipwrecked and then pushed the button in the hatch for 3 years.:bttt:
Doc, I need your help in understanding tonight's episode...
Doesn't Ben know who Desmond is? And if he does, wouldn't he have a file on him too? Why didn't he say anything about Penny since he knows who her father is? And who by the way, DOES know about Penny besides Charlie...Hurley maybe?[/spoiler:1wsnm2al]
Ben's got to know who he is, though, and I can't imagine someone as smart as Ben would remain ignorant of the connection between Widmore and Desmond.
I think Charlie was really the only one that Desmond confided in about Penny, but now that Charlie's dying message has gotten out, I think most of the major players know: Jack, Locke, Kate, Sawyer, Hurley, Sayid and Claire.[/spoiler:1wsnm2al]
What? No concern for us fathers?
Also, I am concerned from for Sun and Claire...the moms of course. And who is the familiar face...I'm assuming Michael and I'm assuming HE is Ben's guy on the boat...i'm pissed that they made it seem like Ben was going to tell US as well as Locke and we didn't. I think that it must be Michael because why else would Locke have let Ben go like he did if Ben didn't share something really good?[/spoiler:1wsnm2al]
Yeah, I'm pissed off that they teased us like that, too. I think most of the fans have already guessed that Michael is Ben's man on the boat, though I'd love it to be Mr. Eko. We already know that the actor who plays Michael is going to be returning in the first 8 episodes, and I don't think it'll be in a flash-forward or flashback.[/spoiler:1wsnm2al]
I'm hoping for Eko, but I know he hasn't been rumored to appear on the show again, at least not this season. Fell out of a plane? You mean Boone? Technically, he was still inside the plane when it fell. The guy on the boat..... when ben told him to sit down.... I started to wonder if it was Echo or the guy that fell out of the plane (you know the sister brother deal)
I don't think the folks who die and are buried on the island come back in anything other than ghost form. Mikhail was an exception, as he was a badass, but the producers said that he was really dead this time.
But he would also make for a good man on the boat. Hell, maybe it's Walt. No one would suspect a kid, would they? And it would explain how Locke saw him last season.
