i started lurking in SG and entered the fray with an occassional post. then migrated to the pub because someone mentioned the JOD and how funny it was. so y'all biatches can blame Mlr for me being around.

pmc used to post pics of her fishing expeditions...i could remember me and phid not knowing you were a woman at the time...we just assumed you were male...don't know why and it wasn't specific to you or anything...you just read stuff and you never think it's a woman unless they say something....

anyways - you posted a pic (not showing your face of course) of you holding up a fish and me and phid were convinced you were a man so we put it to rest...

then one day i called PMC an ole geezer (in a joking way of course) not thinking pmc was a woman...if i'd known she was a woman, i would have NEVER called her an ole geezer...lol...we started PMing and i had found out about 3 pms later that pmc was a woman...i musta spent like 2 weeks straight apologizing for my bad behavior...lol...pam was so gracious as to say that the multi-apologies were not necessary...

i still feel like a heel ya know.

I remember VERY early on, I thought Gone was one of PMC's son and Mommy was her daughter-in-law. Isn't that funny? Thank goodness I figured it out before the clinic...I would have looked like an idiot!

Anybody know what happened to phid? Didn't he post here that he was looking at a couple of properties and was trying to decide which to buy? Don't recall hearing anything about phid since.

I also remember theaurworks, Bess I think her name was, when she started posting to promote her book. I think she really started posting to promote the book but got caught up in the fun and continued to post. I know she blamed the fact that she wasn't going to post anymore because of home computer issues but I have always wondered what really happened.
