going to the FL vs LSU basketball game on Wed night?

I'm going! I can't wait! A friend called and invited me to go, and I'll join her and 2 other girlfriends and we will go to dinner and then the game.

Damn Pam. I'm over in Sanford again and I've got a big wireless implementation that I'm putting the hospital through. I've got to stay in the area in case things go wrong after hours. I would have been there though. Enjoy the game.

as much as I would love to give Joe hell over this...it was a road game for Kentucky and we still have to go on the road to both Vandy and Kentucky...and we seem to not do quite so well on the road.

Hey everyone that was the worst loss I have seen in a long time. I think other game I can compare that to was the 50 pt blow out loss to Kansas in Pitino's first year. Losing like that isn't as bad as losing by 1. At least Vandy was ranked and it wasn't like they got blown by someone like Arkansas or anything. [img]{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif[/img]

yeah...he's right...at least it was a blowout loss to a ranked Vandy team on the road. It would've been really embarrasing if it was a blowout loss at home to like Gardner-Webb or something like that. Does Gardner-Webb even have a basketball team? Is Gardner-Webb even a real college?

Im sure the Odome will fill nicely for an NIT game or maybe UF will make the tourney after padding their records with the like of UNF,Flagler College or Stetson. UK for the most part plays real schools out of conference. Sure there were the crappy loses to UAB,Gardner Webb and San Diego but there was also loses to UNC,Indiana and Louisville. Anyone for the most part UF has played that is decent this year they have lost to. Ohio State, FSU???, UT,Arkansas for example. Even if UF does make the tourney it will be back to the good ol' days of the one and done.

UF will make the tourney, and I still contend it was smart to play a light schedule based on the extreme youth of our team this year. Would not have helped to have them get stomped while learning on the job.

very well may be true this year, Joe, but then, most fans expected that with the team we were going to have this year, we just wanted to keep our streak alive. We'll make our run next year when we have more than one big guy on the inside.

But hey...at least we'll be in the tourney...and at least we have a coach signed to a contract. How's Gillespie holding up for you all these days? Face it, Joe. This isn't UF's best team by a longshot, yet our future is still bright and Kentucky's is fading like FSU's football team. The Glory Days for UK ended when Pitino left.

Vandy is a very difficult place to play. I think Billy will have his team ready but in no way do I expect UF to win there. Those young guys will probably be freaked because of that court.
