LSU recruit Patrick Johnson - flagged

The top-rated recruit for the LSU Tigers thus far for the Class of 2008 was not in class this week due to a flagged ACT score.

Ely High School product Patrick Johnson is a five-star prospect according to the latest Rivals.com rankings. The 6-1, 193-pound Johnson is the nation's top cornerback and the fifth-best overall player in the country according to Rivals.com.

"It is true I am not at LSU at this moment," Johnson said. "My test score was flag and I am not in class yet in Baton Rouge. The NCAA compliance office is now looking into everything.

"I'm not really angry or anything about it, it is just something that has happened and if I have to take it over again then that is something that I am just going to have to do."
Johnson said that he has been in touch with the Tigers coaching staff, apprising them of the situation and his mind is set up on what is next in his future.

"I have talked to them and I told them that I will see them next week and this situation will be fixed," Johnson said.

When asked if he meant next week to go to school Johnson was quick to agree.
"Yes sir," Johnson said. "My classes will still be there for me."

Note: According to the LSU website, the last date for registering and adding classes for the Spring semester is Thursday January 24, 2008.

If LSU got Terrance Toliver in last year, who by the way can't read. Then they will get PJ in for sure.

Toliver is a moron. I had the pleasure of meeting him when UF recruited him.
