Flood CBS with calls about the broadcast.
FSU is playing poorly but this Tebow lovefest is way out of control.
Honestly, look back at the past 15 yrs of college football. Has there ever been such a lovefest with a player? He's a great player, but if I'm not mistaken, they have lost 4 times this year. I don't remember anyone humping Weinke's leg in '99, the way CBS is all over Tebow. Did we lose 4 times that year? hmmmm
Here's a Nole who recognizes that the future is bleak:
These new coaches have had a year to get this turned around, and judging by what we saw today, we've gone backwards. We can argue talent vs coaching endlessly, but you have to think it's a lot of both for this team to look this bad against our biggest rival. This was a disgraceful effort by everyone involved.
The Gators, of course, have no class:
It's classless on both accounts. Urban is only trying to boost Timmy's Heisman chances, and cladwell is just an idiot. Honestly he should have been ejected. Further more, it's the perfect case where a team is not going to beat U and U leave your starters in with under 5min to play, is obvious a slap in the face to a livin' legend. Urban has no class and the team is only following his lead.
Another poster, one of the few with a good high school education, replied:
So this is what it has come down to, our own fans acting like we're in 1-AA, crying about getting the score run up on us. This is ridiculous. Freaking A, this is Florida State. Just admit that we sucked this game and deserved every bit of 45 points run down our throats. Bowden would have done the same thing back in the day. I can't even count how many times we've scored 50+ points since our run of domination. How about 77 against NC State? Quit crying.
Geno Hayes was recognized for his fierce effort:
Nice game, big guy. Deep into the 4th quarter, no tackles. Next time, shut your dome, and instead of talking smack, study film and prepare.
Some concern that Mickey Andrews may have jumped the shark:
Obviously something is going majorly wrong with the defensive coaching staff and players. The've severly regressed. I swear I could probably count on one hand how many pass breakups our safeties have had this year. It just makes no sense with all of the 4 and 5 star players on this team to be playing that bad.
I was at the UCF game today, left early to watch my Noles play. FSU has so much more talent than UCF, yet I watch this UCF team play like a team. I watch them find some way to win no matter what. I see a team with heart, emotion, and I see a team that focuses all on execution. How is it that with all this talent we have, we can't seem to find that?
Recruiting talk points out that the fair weather fans are abandoning the shit. I mean ship.
I don't have a son, but I've got a half brother 20 years younger, and honestly, I would not encourage him to play for FSU (I wouldn't discourage it, but I wouldn't encourage it). My little bro plays both ways, but is an offensive standout as a junior (if he were a defensive standout I'd encourage FSU). For years I had him cheering for the Noles, but it's been very hard to keep that up lately. I want what's best for him, and I'm not sure that's FSU as an offensive player. We live in GA and he'll have the opportunity to get the Hope scolly and walk on as a freshman at UGA, and I'll fully support that. Honestly, I do not know where FSU is going. I feel like UGA has positive direction and knows where they're headed. My 2 cents.
A poster named NoogaDawgFan raised the level of the conversation:
I hatte the gayturds and Teblow, Is SEC better than ACC?
Overall, there is less pissing and whining left in the Noles than you'd expect. Barely a gasp.
I am DISGUSTED, ASHAMED, and DISILLUSIONED. To play UF with no passion and desire is inexcusable. What a debacle!
Warchant is pretty quiet in the hour after a big loss to Florida. FSU fans don't have much to say anymore.
I didn't even have the heart to post.
Sleep tight, Gators. It's great. To be.
