Quarterback U? Try P.U....scUM article
i like the line that blames everything this season on coker leaveing the cupboard bare, thus alleaving shannon (who must not have been responsible at all as the associate head coach last year) of any blame for this season.
i like how miami is going to be even worse next season.

Dude was 1-for-14 with three picks???
I think that has to be the worst QB line I have ever seen anywhere at any level. The fact that his one completion went for an 84-yard TD mitigates it a bit -- but the article adds this:

I'm gonna have to watch some Canes before this changes.enkins shot into a space abandoned by the Wolfpack secondary, the result of a safety being out of position, and was open by a good 20 yards. All the same, he had to wait for Freeman's pass, which hung in the air almost like a punt. After that, the race to the goal line for an 84-yard touchdown was a scary sprint rather than a showboating stroll.

Let's also not forget that Marve, the cane savior at QB, was just arrested. Things are going to be bad, bad, bad down in Coral Gables for a long time. Their recruiting class is awesome, but how many stick with the season as bad as it is?

Wow, I hadn't heard about that one. What was he arrested for? He's the kid from the Tampa Bay area, right? If he's the one I'm thinking of, when he signed with scUM, Dan Sileo was all over the airwaves here talking about how scUM had stolen the best QB in the state and they were going to stick it in the faces of UF and F$U since neither of those schools had offered the kid, etc, etc, etc. What a dipshit that guy is.Let's also not forget that Marve, the cane savior at QB, was just arrested. CORAL GABLES — University of Miami quarterback Robert Marve, who is redshirting his freshman season, was charged with a two misdemeanors Wednesday night following an incident in Coconut Grove.
The situation came to light Saturday following the Hurricanes' 19-16 overtime loss to North Carolina State in the Orange Bowl.Marve was arrested after he became upset and broke a car mirror, a Miami-Dade County Police spokesman told The Associated Press.
Marve tried to run away but was caught by police and charged with resisting arrest without violence and minor criminal mischief. Marve signed a promise to appear in court and was not taken to jail, according to police. There was no information on what precipitated the incident.
Marve attended Saturday's game, watching from the sideline in his UM jersey. But news of his arrest was not made public until Marve and the rest of UM's players and coaches had left the Orange Bowl.
UM released a statement following the game saying that coach Randy Shannon had met with Marve "regarding some personal issues that caused him to have an incident."
Shannon did not mention Marve's arrest during post-game comments.
Marve, the son of former NFL player Eugene Marve, is considered UM's quarterback of the future. He was named Florida's Mr. Football in 2006 as a senior at Tampa Plant High School after setting state records with 280 completions, 48 touchdowns and 4,380 passing yards.
