Selena Roberts' story is at her web site here, and she's sticking to it. The Muschamp-McNeil exchange is as follows:
I saw a funny comment at another message board about this:McNeil recalls having a difficult day at practice in 2007 and then-defensive coordinator, Will Muschamp, calling him into his office. “I had no clue what it was about because I’d never directly asked him for anything,” says McNeil. “He slid about $400 over to me. He went into a drawer and gave me money and said, ‘Is this enough? Is this good?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, I’m good.’” Muschamp, now the head football coach at the University of Florida, denied the payment through a spokesperson.
I guess it's worth noting that she was one of the first reporters to go after the Duke lacrosse team when that scandal broke and she's never apologized for her role in whipping up the frenzy over it.So this guy:
gave $400 to a kid who was having a bad day at practice?
Of course, McNeil being on trial for armed robbery where his chief defense is an Auburn conspiracy to set him up has absolutely NOTHING to do with any of this.
