The 25 "core" sports remaining on the program (source): athletics (I think this means track & field), rowing, badminton, basketball, boxing, canoeing, cycling, equestrian, fencing, football (soccer, not he-man American football), gymnastics (including "rhythmic" gymnastics?), weightlifting, handball, hockey, judo, swimming, modern pentathlon, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis, shooting, archery, triathlon, sailing and volleyball.

Seems weird to take out a sport that dates back to the original Olympics.

On second thought, I looked up how many medals we'd won recently in wrestling. Some in freestyle; Greco-Roman, not so much. So not really much of a loss. USA! USA!
