I remember seeing some interview he did to promote a book he wrote. I must've been in high school. I was kind of surprised by some of his positions. He was in favor of gun control because he thought the 2nd Amendment was outdated or something (said something along the lines of, "There's nothing Bubba could have in his garage that would be able to defend against the stealth bomber") and he was in favor of the federal government censoring the media and arts.

He had a jacked up beard.
