As someone who hasn't followed recruiting, can you give me the 411 on this guy?

checks in at 6'2 and 200-pounds from Orlando (FL) Dr. Phillips High School. Harris had offers from the top tier programs such as Clemson, Florida, Florida State, LSU, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, South Florida, Temple, Tennessee, Texas and West Virginia. Long thought to be a Florida Texas battle Harris decided to play for Will Muschamp and the Gators.

Also, son of former Gator free safety Mike "Mud" Harris, who came all the way across the field to stop Travis Minor's long run during the 1997 F$U game. He tackled Minor at the 3 with about 3 minutes remaining, and our defense did the rest - forcing Sebastian Janikowski to kick a field goal (after which he taunted us with the chomp).

You know the rest of the story. Jacquez Green's huge catch, Fred Taylor's rumble to the one and then a touchdown. 32-29.

Loudest game I ever went to.

I remember that tackle well. Saved the game for us. That and UT '95 were the loudest games I ever went to.

Love the legacy guys!
“The Knave abideth.” I dare speak not for thee, but this maketh me to be of good comfort; I deem it well that he be out there, the Knave, being of good ease for we sinners.

Absolutely. And, Doc and Kyle, you have just named my two favorite Spurrier games. No knock on 52-20, but 32-29 was a stunning thriller -- and 62-37 was the most fun I've ever had in a football stadium, and that includes your moms.
