Green said they’ve called the county, they’ve called animal control and have even complained to their neighborhood association and all they’re told is that they have to pay $200 to have it removed. They feel it’s unfair and said it’s a safety hazard. They want help.“Please come and help us get these bees away from here because they’re too many children around here, due to the safety of the kids,” Green said. “My husband comes out here to fish. There’s over 50,000 bees. We didn’t even know it was here. I mean, it’s kind of crazy.”
They're just bees, you crazy bint. How much of a safety hazard can they be if you never even noticed them?
I can't stand wasps or bees...but even I know that they won't stay like that. They will disperse in a week or two. What's happened is that a hive has swarmed and followed a queen out of the old hive and will eventually find a new place to hole up. Probably in the walls of an abandoned building or hollow tree. Nothing to get worked up about.
