Yep, already done a few. Scheduled for Friday, but trying to switch with somebody who is on Thursday so I can play in the office softball game friday night. There's my pub like boring post for the day.

A1, hope you can play in the game Friday night. Do you ump high school games? You are a brave soul! The parents...it can be dangerous!!

After a high school game years ago, a parent had a bat and was waiting for the umpire near the parking lot. Other parents stopped him. It was a VERY unpleasant scene. Yikes....

Depends on when they were in Polk and where in Polk (though it's not very big) I spent all of my childhood there, graduated from Bartow in '99, and left in 2000 so it's possible.

Grandfather lived in Lakeland many years. My mom was born there as was I. They moved when I was very young but I went down there to visit the grandfolks back when they were alive. I'll be buried in Polk County.
