Didn't they almost come close to the Death Penalty a few years ago?

I dunno...I see them getting out of it. I don't know why, but it seems this is all going to be blamed on those "stupid" NCAA rules and become all political. Meh. Don't get me wrong, I would love it! My sister's whole family are huge Canes fans and they would just be so bummed. But I guess I'm sort of cynical at this point.

I too am cynical about this. I think they get off light compared to what they should get.

Agreed. There is too much money involved to do serious damage to the Miami program.

As I said above, weren't they close to the Death Penalty a few years ago? Does anyone remember?
