I was going to put something in the financial thread, but seriously...what is the deal with monetizing the debt? Is it as bad as some are predicting? Should I be stocking up on canned goods? What about George Soros...is he the evil genius behind the collapse of the US economic system? What can WE do to stop it?

Am I just a nut? Could be.

Monetizing the debt (which they've been doing for a while now but are expanding the scheme) could start a waterfall event which destroys the dollar very quickly. China is PISSED and rightfully so.....it could definitely get ugly quickly, I would certainly have some food on hand, just think of it as a sort of extended hurricane season and prepare accordingly.

Of course, I'm certifiably insane, so what do I know.
