Rules:
1. A celebrity is anyone famous enough to have their own permanent Wikipedia entry. A celebrity can be a head of state. If your celebrity is obscure, yet still qualifies as a celebrity, please provide a short description of why that person is famous.
2. Just to make this more interesting, we'll have 15 entries per person instead of the standard 10.
3. Scores will be calculated based on the celebrities' ages at their time of death. Score will be 125-age. That way, if you stack your entries with the elderly, you're not going to get a lot of points, but you will be rewarded for taking risks on younger celebs.
4. Duplicate entries are permitted - more than one person may name a given celebrity in their list.
5. If you accurately predict the cause of death, you'll get a bonus of 25 points. This has to be specific - i.e., "pancreatic cancer" would get the bonus, but "natural causes" would not.
6. Deadline for entry is 11:59 p.m. January 10, 2010. If, however, you enter before then, and someone on your list dies within the first 10 days of 2010, you will be awarded the points. You thus have an incentive to enter as soon as possible.
7. You may not cause the death of someone on your list.
8. You may not name a celebrity who, at the time of your entry, is suffering from an illness or injury that presents an immediate threat to his or her life. In other words, you'd be allowed to name Stephen Hawking, whose ALS will definitely kill him at some future time, but you would not be allowed to names someone whose death appears imminent.
9. Similarly, you may not name someone who is scheduled to be executed by any government. Death row inmates are fine, as long as their execution date has not been set. Same goes for folks in Terry Shiavo's situation - once the court allows them to pull the plug, she can't be used, but as long as the litigation continues, it's fine.
10. Submissions will be made in a sticky thread. Edits will not be allowed, save for my editing of the first post, in which I'll keep score.

Good call on Artie Lang Jimmy. I guess the nutball tried to off himself last weekend by stabbing himself 9 times. Too bad he survived or you would have had the first pick of the year.
