Americans love to choose between the lesser of two evils, and then act surprised when they get evil government.

With the two party system and TPTB almost every election is the lesser of two evils. I haven't been excited about a presidential candidate on the ballot since I've been old enough to vote.

I think a lot people were asleep (myself included) politically...but MANY (myself included) are awake now...and we're pissed.

The choices Americans are given are usually wholly illusory. By giving the public fake choices, TPTB placates the citizenry while completely controlling them.
