Thursday night. Hey, News, those orange jerseys on the Hokies -- not especially manly. What say you?

Here was new's post on FB regarding this issue:

"Hokies, I think your program has risen to enough prominence that you can do w/o gimmicks like "orange effect"
Okay, let's try this!

Boy, they have nosedived of late. Poor season for the Hokies. The ACC is a hell of a mess. I'm cheering for Georgia Tech to come through.

i really don't mind uni variance to be honest...though VTechs scheme last night looked 'popsicle-ish'

I am twenty years a Gator this fall, and I grew up orange and blue as a Bears fan, but I've never liked the polyester glow of Gator blue. Orange don't help it either.

There, I said it.

Aww yeah. Misty and 60 degrees outside. Perfect football weather.

Damn Gators need to wrap this one up early, as I have to go to some trick or treat events and will not see it end.

It's the 14th anniversary of my first date with Mrs. Toothy, then a brand-new UF master's student with very long brown hair.

Good job controlling the game in the first half. Let's see how the 2nd half goes...quite a kick by Sturgis on that 56 yd FG.

Yeah, that kick by Sturgis was good from way more than 56.

Not a perfect game, but a satisfying step toward where the Gators need to be.

I would think that Deonte Thompson is capable of doing something other than the sideline dump-off.

I did not feel good when Spikes left. Nice to see him come back. If the dude shows up fit to the combines, he might go top 10. He is a man's man.

Little concerned that we allowed them so many passing yards, but I would guess that's a blip.

I take back a little of what I said last week about Caleb Sturgis. Not all of it, but the young man stepped up, did he not?

Undefeated at the end of October feels pretty damn good. October is a month that likes to f*** the Gators. Nice to see them f*** it back.

great day for sturgis...his confidence is at an all time high and it should be....good day for chas henry as well...great day i should say!

spread offense was DEFINITELY spread around wouldn't you say? props to addazio

thank you coach addazio for doing away with the 'check with the sidelines before the snap' routine....had more flow and more rhythm imo.

saw a lot less targeted plays to hernandez which shows us versatility...bravo

saw a really great thrown ball from tebow to coop on that one handed td...bravo tebow

tebow's still running quite gingerly...i don't particularly like that tebow spins and keeps his back facing upfield...i know he's trying to get the extra yard but i just feel he's more vulnerable...especially the back of his head...if you're gonna spin, spin and face north please timmy

having said all that, the defense imho took a lot of pressure off the offense...if the defense doesn't intercept as many as they did, i believe the offense is tighter and more methodical.

Offensive line had a great day out there.

Would have liked to have seen more passes to other guys still but I'm not going to complain. BJ should have caught that one pass in the 1st half.

Secondary took some time to adjust but once they did, they locked down the Georgia WR's.
