Rad...during the game you and Bill are the same person...it's uncanny really! He freaked out after the field goal saying to get the hell off the field to keep from getting a penalty. Good to know if he ever leaves me. I can come and watch games with you and it'll feel like he's back. LOL

And you all can thank me as I didn't watch 80% of this game. Kills me. Next week I'll be at a wedding...it's MSU but hey, if Arky can get this close who knows? Doubt I'll be able to watch it anyway. I'm a wuss. Thank goodness for Breakfast with the Gators on Sun Sports.

Bill also said he's tired of Urban Meyer saying "that was a tough football team we beat right there"...he's like "no, you just beat a number 32 team that has a horrible defense and you couldn't even score on them." Or something to that affect. He's never satisfied.

And to defend rad...I know unusual for me...he is just competitive and a perfectionist...accepts no excuses. I know that because I'm married to his football soulmate.

lol guys.

trust me, i'm a fan...i just don't have the history that y'all have....i'll also say that i'm not homerish like most of y'all are...gonna tell it like it is and if that makes you feel squemish, then i'll apologize in advance.

tebow throws a shit ball BUT he's a winner
sturgis has never hit a game winner before, he rose to the occasion obviously....it's reasonable to say that he was nervous.
everyone has been very critical of spikes even though he's been playing through an achilles injury but we now see how valuable he is to the defense

i called this as a trap game this morning.....doesn't mean i don't like the gators right? lol

Four cataclysmic turnovers -- every one of those was a knife in the ribs -- and none for the Razorbacks. Spikes out. How many sacks did Arky have, like seven? And it's October.

That UF won this game is an enormous blessing.

I will say that I too have seen TOO many games like this where we never are able to hang in there...in fact I can't recall us ever pulling out this close of a win...especially in the Spurrier days. Bill used to say that Spurrier would rather lose pretty than win ugly...drove him nuts.

AA, I know where you're coming from on being a lifelong Gator, but just because radbag didn't go there, doesn't mean he's not a fan...he's just not a homer who sees thing through orange and blue glasses.

Just listened to Georgia Tech 28, Virginia Tech 23. Sorry about that, News.

Paul Johnson's doing a great job down there with second-shelf athletes. Wonder if he'll beat Richt again this year. I bet he does.

I would think there are teams in the Big 12 that have to be looking at Johnson. He's a bowl matchup nobody wants -- that offense is a headache.

That was a HORRIBLE game. I had a bad feeling about that one going into it. One of the worst games by an offensive line in a long time. Tebow needs to learn to throw the ball away. Glad they got the W but they've got some work to do.
“The Knave abideth.” I dare speak not for thee, but this maketh me to be of good comfort; I deem it well that he be out there, the Knave, being of good ease for we sinners.

I would like to think my wife is a "real Gator" and she has called bullshit on their performance for weeks. She is the first to admit it if they are playing like crap or too timid which she thinks they have. Just because you went to the school or didn't doesn't have an iota on if your a diehard or not. It's alright to call the leadership out and not just sip on the orange and blue kool-aid. Now for my own personal opinion Tebow throws ducks. Lucky that last pass to Cooper in the endzone wasn't picked.

^^AA...you're off on the last point...radbag was answering the question that Verne and Gary asked when at the end of the game, Sturgis was walking on the sideline...they said "I wonder what he is thinking right now" and rad said (as did my husband)...he's thinking "I hope Tebow gets a touchdown so I don't have to have the game on my shoulders". I don't think rad ever said anyone on the Gators was hoping we'd miss the FG so we'd lose? Not sure what you are referring to there.

let's just leave it be gents...i'm kinda embarrassed for the guy and me not retaliating against all the name calling and 'rad sucks cock' commentary is KILLING him.

thanks to those who've PMd me encouraging me not to stoop to idiotically low levels....agree with y'all who've suggested we should feel compassion instead....thanks again.

glad you listened. :eyeroll:

These games are emotional for everyone involved, players, coaches,...and fans. Though I was thinking the same things as rad (minus the ducks) during the game, I might have snapped had somebody been in my ear about it during the game, too. Just didn't want to hear it.

I don't give a flying fuck about his ducks (though they're not nearly as bad as they used to be), so long as the ball gets there.

We all know all the bad that there was in that game.

What I'm encouraged about was that we had EVERYTHING go wrong that could go wrong for 3 quarters...and still managed to win. Everything that went bad should be easily fixable...ahem...HOLD ON TO THE MOTHERF'ING BALL!!!! We left somewhere in the neighborhood of 24-31 points on the field IN THE FIRST HALF! We convert on half of that and we aren't really having this discussion.

Addazio isn't perfect (personnel decisions are my big beef...run moody outside -- and only 3 or 4 times? -- and rainey (or James...ugh) inside?), but we moved the ball well...until we'd promptly place it on the turf. The Tebow strip never happens if Coop hauls that pass in and we probably blow them out. The whole complexion of the game would've been different.

Agree with Hater. I am not in love with the playcalling, but this was about execution. The Gators played terribly. Terribly! And still had balls enough to go down and steal the game. Those balls were largely Tebow's, but don't ignore the fight of that defense that's out there without Brandon Spikes.

The breaks go even, this is a 17-point win. Not a blowout -- that kid Dennis Johnson is for real. But guys like Dennis Johnson used to be able to beat us more or less singlehandedly.

Work on tackling; work on holding the ball; get Spikes healthy for Georgia.

We beat Mississippi State by four touchdowns. Watch.
