Did you see this? Whatever you do, don't log on to cars.gov for the 'cars for clunkers' thing. (Sorry to all those who think Glenn Beck is a nut).

Okay, let's try this!

I don't even know what to say, except that I cannot fucking wait until the day when I get to watch the government's power disintegrate. I'd rather live in anarchy than under the thumb of these assholes. Hell, I'd rather be dead but I won't give them that pleasure.

“The Knave abideth.” I dare speak not for thee, but this maketh me to be of good comfort; I deem it well that he be out there, the Knave, being of good ease for we sinners.

I'm pretty certain he was in the section that only dealers go into, not someone at home.

Hmm. Interesting...this is the kind of thing I envision TPTB using to distract folks from some other story they want to go unnoticed....Goddamnit I hate that there's no truth in this world.

We'll likely all be there soon enough with the way things are going. No need to rush it O0

Yeah, I just came on to debunk...I thought that was the case when I was watching it, but because we run a small business and I'm sure there are plenty of small dealers out there, I know that there is a lot of personal stuff on our work computer and I personally wouldn't want the gov't having access to all of it. Actually, I wouldn't want ANYONE having that kind of access to my information. That's what a Privacy Statement is all about. Meh.
Okay, let's try this!

Saw the update on this today...admittedly this warning only came up on the dealer part of the site, however, the gov't issued a statement that they are revising the warning and it has been removed until they are able to do so. Of course, that Napolitano guy (an ex-judge) said that they still could be doing the monitoring under the whole Patriot Act thing. And there was a computer geek guy on who posed the scenario I gave above about some dealers working from home or sharing a computer with others who have not given up their rights to all their info. Not to mention the consumers that the dealer have sold cars to who have their info on this dealer's computer.

Interesting.
