What a weird break in the game. Do you think the people at the game will leave for good (those who they've shown leaving, I mean) or stay to see the end, given the score?

Since we don't have DVR, we had to buy a new VCR last night so that I could tape the game for BG. When I rewound the tape before the game started, the counter read it as an 8-hour tape. It taped for only two hours. I called him at work to tell him and ask him what he wanted me to do, as we don't have any other tapes in the house (was lucky to find that one this morning), and I told him the score of the game when he didn't want to know. I'm not having a good football day.

As long as you have the first half, you're good.
Okay, let's try this!

If I remember correctly there is a sp, slp and some other sp deal. That to break it down, is how long the tape runs, I think it 2 4 5. You have to look on the vhs box, that should tell you. If one of you other folks know what I am talking about and can say it better please do so.

Yeah, I could have reset the speed, but, since it rewound at 8 hours, I assumed (incorrectly) that it would tape at 8 hours. So, I didn't reset the tape speed. Yargh.

You don't have a DVR? You better get one before you start breast-feeding. That's practically all that has kept Mrs. Zaius sane.

We'll be switching to Comcast and getting a DVR within the next three months, I predict.

I'm such a diehard, I waited until they made the final announcement that the game was called because of the weather. By the time they did that, the rain had stopped, so my friend and I didn't get soaked walking back to the car.

Every time they saw lightning, they had to wait at least 20 minutes, and then the team was going to have a 10 minute warm up. We would see lightning every so often, and that would start another 20 minute wait.

It was okay with me that they called the game, considering the score and all. I am a great respector of lightning ( skeered).
