Yep.

FYI I was low on Vit D for a while. The best D3 supplements were ok, but what really turned around test results was a good cod liver oil supplement that has natural D in it instead of synthetic
Thanks my new doc put me on prescription D. I may look into this.
It’s weird I eat eggs and fish but up here I’m a mushroom

I had a history professor in my freshman year who was a retired army colonel who swore by cod liver oil, had been taking it all his life.
New data released Wednesday showed that both vaccination and prior infection offered strong protection against infection and hospitalization from Covid-19 during the Delta wave — and that case and hospitalization rates were actually lower among people who had recovered from Covid-19 than among those who had been vaccinated.
The data, released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and health agencies in California and New York, are sure to inflame arguments from those who insist they don’t need to be vaccinated if they can show they’ve recovered from Covid-19.
Yeah the us ignored natural immunity for so long. The outcomes compared massive amounts of money we hand to cdc and fda is insane

I wonder why....Not verified, but I'd heard that Pfizer went from 1 billion profit to 33 billion profit in a year.
Big Pharma baby!

I never understood the argument against natural immunity. There are probably millions of things we don't understand about our biology yet and very smart people would fight you to the death if you said that pre exposure wasn't as good as a man made vaccine.

It is purely anecdotal, but I know of at least 14 people in my social circle that were fully vaccinated and got covid. I know of zero that were re-infected.
I thought my daughter was getting it again like 2 weeks ago, but turned out not to be. I was also working all day in a garage with a covid positive person and didn't get it.
Speaking of daughters.....mine told her friends family we were all vaccinated so they were allowed to play
Since they're extreme about it, I just told me daughter it would have been nice if she told me that 2 months ago in case they asked me about it
Now boy has it, but guessing it’ll last a day or two, he’s healthy as hell. The missus turned the corner, she’s better. Between this & daughter starting chemo tomorrow, I’ve been pacing like a mfr
Good news Tommy
That's very good to hear Tommy, hang in there!
It sucks that I can’t be there in Santa Fe while she goes thru this, but that’s part of the deal when they marry & start their own family. Still sucks though.
Wife and I have it. We're fine, I had barely any symptoms earlier this week. Quick onset weird sore throat, came immediately after sucking in a little ash on a toke. I thought it was from that, but it lasted longer and felt weird. Couldn't get warm that night, but didn't really have a fever. Remember telling my wife the next morning that I felt kind of hungover but I didn't drink. Also had an old injury ache a little. That was it,
The wife is a little symptomatic. She's the reason we got tested. Mild cough, had the same weird sore throat, bit of a rasp in her voice.
I know exactly who gave it to me. Another parent at Karate. Friend of my kids. We were talking and he mentioned he had an odd dry throat the day before, said otherwise he was totally fine. I told him that's what the new variant is doing, we laughed it off. His kid popped positive later that week.
I believe that was the day I got my booster. Conflicting stories if the booster helps at all, but mine wouldn't have mattered. Everybody is going to get this, no way we can quarantine ourselves with the symptoms that dude or myself had. Hope Omicron stays the dominate or gets even weaker. Hope everybody else fairs the same or better when they do.
Hang in there 52, glad it's not horrible. You're right about how contiguous this variant is, my son tested positive and he's vaxed/boosted, symptoms mild but my wife's daughter and husband have it. Their symptoms are moderate, but they're worse than my son's.....they're waxed/boosted but are overweight. One of my un-vaxed friends also has it but with moderate symptoms.
I had a weird dry scratchy throat for a day and a half when I went to a work meeting, happy hour where I hugged a bunch of people and had my physical and went shopping so likely killed people
Real? Not sure. But how anyone thinks that a mask is magic protection, and that coming into contact with someone presuming they actually have Covid is helpful is nuts.
Let alone that you’re dragging another human
My kid tested positive again. Delta at Christmas (who gave it to me) and now since it's just a bad cold with a terrible cough, seems like omicron. I also have a cold and a bit of a cough, but I'm not gonna bother to get tested. Likely I too got covid twice within a month
whites ladies yell “black lives matter” while hitting a black man for not wearing a mask
Now I have the plague, feels like I have the edge of a cold, hopefully that’s as bad as it gets.

Someday
I'm fine already, despite a little congestion which I always have at this time of year. But damned if everybody around me right now doesn't have it. The kid, my woman and her kid, looks like my dad has it. None of it severe.
I wake up with a little congestion, not bad, kid can’t go to school this wk as he tested positive yday, though he’s been symptom free for 5 days, but school says 5 days post negative test. He tested negative just now. I haven’t read up on it, but seems like everyone will end up getting it multiple times, until our immune system gradually develops better immune response, then it’ll be just another cold, which might be sooner than later.?
Yeah the quarantine shit seems very outdated.
