When is the last time you checked your 401k?

I do a quicken download daily. I'm about 80% cash so not afraid to look. And rates are finally up so I can make more than pennies on cds. And stocks will come back strong as soon as the adults are back in charge of the govt.
 
Yesterday. It hurt. I've contributed about $15k so far this year and my balance has gone down. It feels like I just lit the money on fire.

Yeah we’ve been leaving our savings in cash out of laziness mainly now we feel like geniuses

I haven't looked in 6 months, but then my ex or my house takes most of my expendable income, so I haven't contributed much in a while.

Mrs. Pan got a check from her last job's 401k, to roll over into the new job's. The check is still on our counter and hasn't lost any value.
