Has anyone used an all-in-one decarb and infuser machine?

Thinking about making my own edibles and would rather not smell up my entire house for a day or two in the process. Curious if they're worth the money. I don't particularly trust amazon reviews.

Also, Doc, can a prefix be added to the new thread options for questions?

I've never used on so I can't really say. The smell has to be milder than just using the oven though. That shit stinks up the entire block.
 
I bought one. Making my first batch of gummies today. Half of the weed is a little old, but sealed in a cool, dark place and it wasn't dried out, still a bit sticky. Still, the % will be a guess with half of it sitting a bit. Infusing the MCT oil right now.

I'd say it eliminated 95% of the smell of decarbing. Almost no smell at all in the kitchen, just some when I opened the cannister. Ultimately no different than when I walk through the house for a minute with a cigar. Goes away pretty fast. Well worth the $100.

With edibles lasting much longer, I'm hoping this along with a CBD/CBN tincture will be a better solution for all night sleep compared to smoking/vaping it.

It was worth the gamble on a cheaper model. Reviews have some negatives, which I think may have been from how it was shipped. The box inside a bigger box, no packaging to protect the box as it gets thrown around during shipping. But mine works just fine


I really think I'm just going to go with making butter or stopping at the infused oil next time and save the 10 other steps. Save time, tedium, a lot more dishes, and just not have the convenience and yummy taste of a blue raspberry bummy :lol:

FYI - No matter what the internet/youtube people say, homemade gummies will 100% mold within a week unless you keep them in the fridge, even when it says a dark room temperature is ok. No preservatives (and lemon juice doesn't count), mold was inevitable. Glad I used mostly the old weed for that, these were more like cbd gummies.

Gummies though I can't keep in the fridge. There's no way the kid won't see them. Either she sees it before I can say anything, but I don't want to have the "these are adult gummies" conversation (and trust her to still not eat one) :lol:

3 new strains I haven't tried being delivered today. A butter mold being delivered tomorrow. The kid won't fuck with butter in a solid, non-see thru container. I have my plans for Sunday

Do not buy this. Worked great the first round.

I use it the 2nd time this afternoon, set it and walk away while it decarbs. I come back to a fucking error message. One I'd seen in occasional reviews on Amazon. So I have no idea how long it decarbed for before the error message, so I had to take a guess at finishing it in the oven and hope I don't under/over decarb it and waste the entire batch.
 
I bought some different stuff to see if it helps with sleep while I experiment with making my own. 5:1 thc/cbd, 1:1 gummies and then a sleep tincture of CBDn...or was it CBDg? The broad spectrum stuff.
