Felt like this deserved its own thread outside of "Future World Problems."
UFO Twitter has gone crazy about this whistleblower, who seems fairly credible.
But the problem is - he has no firsthand knowledge of anything. He's never seen a recovered saucer or bodies. He has produced no documents. He has named no names.

Bob Lesar or however you spell his name does though. Knew Area 51 and it's partner facility, verified by many 3rd parties who also worked there, and made very similar claims a while ago. His story kinda forced their hand.

It's hard to know what to make of Lazar. His story was interesting, but his background is questionable. He claims to have attended both MIT and CalTech, but neither school has a record of him ever attending. His background as a "physicist" at Los Alamos is similarly a likely fabrication.
I mean, his story is fascinating and all, but the more you look at Lazar the sketchier he looks.
Until they show us the craft/bodies, I'm just going to assume that the whistleblower is spreading disinformation (for what purpose, I'm not sure - but they've done it before).

The whole story is odd. When he was taken to Area 51 and the other place, he knew exactly where to walk, turn, etc. like he'd done it a thousand times. A place absurdly top secret and he knew it like his own house. How? People who lie usually have variances in their stories over time, but his is identical for decades. He said years ago that he thought he was in danger from the government for what he know, cost him a marriage I think, was certain he was being followed, phone tapped, etc. Of course the feds could erase his history and make him look like a loon....
But, if he was any kind of a threat and the government was worried about him, why go through that effort and not just make him disappear like he pissed off a Clinton? That's where it loses me. If the CIA can kill JFK, the government can certainly just make Bob go missing.

If he goes missing, more weight would be put behind his story.

Yeah, he went from being known a little within the UFO fanatical circle a decade ago to being more known the last couple years as more people came forward (like military pilots reporting shit), to being very well known after being on Rogan. They could have suicided him 10 years ago and he'd be known by like 100 people.

I swim with this guy, he's over 80. In his day, he held several records at Berkeley and he's still plenty fast for a guy his age.
Anyway, the other day I asked him what he did for a living before he retired and he told me he was an astrophysicist. So naturally I asked him about the whole UFO deal and this is where he stands:
He doesn't quite believe the recent reports are ET, but if they are, he feels like they are probably controlled by an artificial intelligence.
Just throwing that out there. Didn't have time to really get into it with him, but we talked a little about how some of his colleagues are developing ways to determine if life exists on the potentially-habitable planets we have found to be in the "Goldilocks Zone" around their respective stars. Pretty interesting stuff.

It's hard to find any of the UFO stuff credible when it's released by Biden, who has fucked up this country and to an extent, the world, at every turn. The deep state has been covering for Biden's corruption and incompetence since before he was elected, so why would we trust their word when the topic conveniently draws attention away from another surge in inflation, the war that Russia is not actually losing, etc?
