I'm calling bullshit that the Ranger Colonel didn't approve. One of the most famous blacksmiths, who first got notoriety for making the tomahawks and knives for Last of the Mohicans, has teamed up with a couple different SEALS to design combat axes and knives. Before he went mass to the public, he was making weapons for the SEALS. It's been well known for some time that many of our special forces carry Winkler weapons. They were even highlighted in The Terminal List. You see them hanging on his wall and then he uses them to gut that guy late in the movie.
Not that cheap shit he's showing in that picture....A Winkler battle axe, which there's a few variations, runs you about $800+

His knives are a work of art. I haven't gotten one yet because I chose to go with MKC's magnacut steel and better suited to EDC or as a skinner. But I will get a Winkler at some point. Yes, I still geek out on blades of various types.
