🤷WTF? The sky was all purple, there were people running everywhere

I've noticed this happening in my area. There are some streets where all the lights have turned purple and there are others where there is just an occasional light.

Good article, but in summary, it's a manufacturing defect - the part of the bulb that gives it the bright white color degrades over time and when it does, the bulb emits a bluish light. There are more expensive LEDs that last longer but most cities didn't want to spend the money on the premium bulbs.

I actually Googled that like 2 weeks ago because one on the corner by my job is purple. I was wondering if it was some kinda UV thing.

I ran an errand in Riviera Beach the other night and there were whole neighborhoods like that. I thought there was some special event they were doing but I couldn’t figure out what it could be.

Yeah... I'd plan my errands in Riviera Beach for daylight.

I work in Riviera Beach, sketchy sketchy shit.

There is a monument across the street from me and apparently one of the lights was like this and my neighbor who was annoyed looking at the window at it called and called them to change it and was mad our condo manager wouldn't call for him. this is the same guy who moved to here where trains have run by for 150 years and complains about the train noise.
