Holy shit. Went yesterday and was completely blown away. This is the most beautiful building I have ever seen. You could sit around with binoculars and never see every detail, even if you spent a week. It's a shame they never finished the 2nd tower.
 
Very true. The place we ate had really good and friendly service. They had no problems speaking English which was surprising since most French snub other languages. The escargot was fucking amazing.

Personally I fucking hate the french language. I don't get women's fawning over it. Don't like their accent, the sound of their language, none of it. There's a dozen other languages I'd rather learn.

its a dumb monkey language, but I appreciate their reverence for their own culture and not allowing it to die. the US is the language of the planet and we have so many immigrants and visitors here (college students, etc) that we're pretty used to hearing English not spoken well. Even in my podunk grade school, there were kids who had english as a second language. The french basically beat kids who don't pronounce things perfectly, so it bugs the hell out of them to hear it.

Well let's face it, most of America can't speak English anymore. I've met immigrants who speak better English than half of America. But what makes the French so snooty? Did they stop deserving to think themselves superior in the early 1800s?

I'd rather listen to Gaelic, German, Russian, Italian, Japanese or Korean (not so much Chinese, it's whiny sounding).

Just based on principle, I think I'd rather listen to the click clack noise sound language. Or is that the dumb monkey language? :lol:
 
well i think where most of the world has walked around to find a better spot, genetically a lot of the french have been in the same place for 1000 years or more. Its a beautiful country and their food is great. I sort of like listening to it because i just understand enough to get the insults and the dumbass shit they get mad about. They are sort of the texans of europe (i find texans amusing too)

but as far as sound Italian for the win.

Oh no doubt, a newb would crash on a track for sure. If I ever win the lotto, I'll do it because I won't give a fuck.

But riding with someone else driving that fast would give me anxiety, not having control :lol:

Fucking hell the return flight sucks. Fucking Orlando international took 3 hours to clear us from the airport after landing. They had a grand total of 3 customs workers for at least 500 passengers. Fuck that airport.
