🤬Bitch shits about ready to kick off

to All Dog Owners in the West Building

On more than a dozen occasions, over the last year or so, I've seen and had to step over/around puddles of dog urine in our West Bldg elevators.
The most recent one was Friday. Noticed at 5.45pm in Elevator 1. (photo)

(And no, these are NOT rain water puddles - I am only counting ones I see on clear sunny days like today.)

I have shared this -and discussed this with Tamika several times. She and I plan to raise it formally to our Board.

But I also wanted to appeal directly to the owners here in our building.

We all pay a lot of money to live here. And we just spent over a million dollars refurbishing our elevators. So I'm sure, like me, you expect a quiet, safe and clean place.

So, please. If your dog pees in the elevator, be courteous, be a good neighbor - and CLEAN it up. Don't just walk away and expect the rest of us to tolerate it, or the Carlyle staff to clean up after your dog. Not their job.

As Tamika reminds me - pet ownership here is a privilege not a right. And as I tell all my dog-owning friends, its always the owner's responsibility, never the dog's. 🙂

Thank you.

My first home purchase was a condo when I was about 30. It was a small 1 bedroom and besides one other guy my age, everybody was 70 plus. My fiance moved in and bought me a great Dane even though there was a 20 pound weight limit. And even as a puppy it was over that. So we snuck her out at night to go until we could find a house. The other young resident was not popular with the blue hair's as he owned a Harley and bitched about all the rules. He also owned the only other dog in the complex, a little schnauzer. One morning we heard a commotion outside my sliders. The residents were blaming him for a poop we hadn't cleaned up. He was laughing at them saying "you think my dog did that?" as the poop was as big as his dog. We moved the next day.

ha we're all allowed one pet. The dogs in my building (east) are nice, I know most of them by name. Sometimes there is water on the floor, but there's a hot tub and a swim spa in my building so any water I assume (hope) any water is from there!

Its always funny when they get Tamika involved. I had a minor issue I mentioned to a neighbor in passing and they were like HAVE YOU TOLD TAMIKA, YOU SHOULD TELL TAMIKA.
