Use the default style for now, but the update automatically supports both light and dark modes (scroll down to lower left corner of the page - right next to the “style chooser” link is a half-clear, half-filled circle, that’s the light-dark picker).

I found an add-on that makes it easier to pick the colors and customize borders, icons, etc. I like that better than the images. Just need to dial in the colors and icons.

LOL, you can now change the way your user profile displays. Make your name sparkle or glow, pick a background, etc.

If you find it annoying, you can disable it so you don't have to see it. Just go down to "Preferences," and find a check box for disabling "User styles" and "Animated glow"
