Our defense is going to be insane once these recruits get going. Hopefully a few of them are SEC ready quickly.

i hope so. I'm not sure the DC is the right one and I hope if not Billy isn't as stubbornly loyal as Dan
Iā€™m hoping itā€™s a personnel issue and not a coaching issue. They are 10 months into it, that Grantham stank is strong. If the new DCā€™s donā€™t work out, top flight DCā€™s will jump at the chance to coach these guys coming in. We donā€™t seem to be afraid to pay coaches either. Napier is fixing the talent gap.
We're talking about the same defensive players who've been bad (and not been recruited over) since 2020, the first year of a new DC isn't going to change that. That's one of the reasons we're taking so many DBs and DLs, not to mention turning over the WR room too. The next recruiting cycle will be heavy on LBs and TEs with a couple of QBs..

I've seen it speculated from people in the know that we will add up to 35-40 new players between recruiting and the portal. Look for a lot of attrition during the offseason to make room. Billy is turning this roster over as fast as he can.

5* CB & #2 player overall Cormani McClain will be committing tonight around 7:30. I expect him to pick UF.

Shocking, another fickle, easily impressionable teen makes a pick that goes against the opinion of the so called recruiting xprts. Fire Napier.

The amount of hand-wringing on Twitter about this is insane. We already have a huge class of top-notch DBs committed. If he wants $$ instead of being part of a (hopefully) winning program, there's not a lot we can do.

Yeah, it would have been over the top great for him to come to UF, but with what we already have committed it wasn't a must get. Ricks is still on the clock as well. He may end up going back to FSU, but he seems to be close to our coaches.

The 247 board is in freefall

It's safe to say all of them are except this one lol. On3 seriously has some of the shittiest fucking posters I've ever encountered. I'm convinced about 99% are from rival fan bases.

I did their $10 for a year last fall when they started up. It recently expired, much to my relief.

Brenton Cox had been dismissed from the team following a post game incident. No details are out yet.

From Billy's presser this morning:
"we've kind of decided to move on here. I think that being a football player at the University of Florida is a privilege. There's certain expectations and standards that come with that...obviously he's done a lot of good things for the University of Florida and we wish him nothing but the best, but sometimes you have to make decisions in the best interest of the team, and certainly Brenton, we're going to do everything we can to help him with his transition. But simple as that, we've decided to move on."

Asked for details:
"I think it's more of a cumulative effect here. We'll keep that in-house."

Auburn has officially made the move many have been expecting all season.

The Tigers revealed on Monday that they were parting ways with head coach Bryan Harsin after a tumultuous tenure on The Plains that lasted less than 2 seasons.

The news was revealed in a release, indicating the school would immediately start a search for a new head coach:
