35-0 at halftime. Peyton threw a few touchdowns second half but to no avail. UF won 35-29 and it was never in doubt. Perhaps my favorite UF/ut game.
I think we wiffed(if I'm remembering correctly) on a biggish DC preseason so they made Toney and the dude that came with BN co-dc's. I'm hoping we didn't put Toney in a position he's not ready for, I'd hate to lose his recruiting ability.Fishon said:Film review of defense vs UT. Watch if you dare. Skip ahead to about the 27:45 mark to see Trey Dean get eviscerated. the guy doing the review does a good job (imo) of showing what is done right and what is done wrong on plays. He's critical of Toney's tactics in the game and had stated before the game that he hoped we would play more like Pitt's defense (Cover 1 and Cover 0) to play more to our personnel strengths. Our biggest issues are still not maintaining the edge on DL, young LBs getting lost and being out of position, and veteran guys like Dean, Burney and Tre'vez who make too many mental errors.
edit: it's a long ass video. i typically watch these on 1.25 or 1.5 speed
