Yep. Spent too much on gifts, then I also had to follow through with a promise I've made forever....take her to Harry Potter world at Universal. Luckily for Florida residents they have a promo right now. $20 more per person and a 2nd day added for the park hopper pass. Of course they'll get all that money back out of me in fucking food when you're at the park 12 hours for 2 days. Now I'll just pick a cheap ass hotel down the block.

so I have a dilemma. My bff's daughter hates attention of any kind but is also a great kid and graduating with her pilot degree. Her other mom asked for a card shower for her and she caught wind of it and was furious and asked people not to. So I didn't send anything, but now am second guessing.

Her other mom?

So she has 2 moms and one wants a card shower and the other doesn't?

Regardless....The obvious solution is to mail her a card like any other graduation or occasion while everyone respects her hatred for attention. For an introvert, no one wants to be thrown into the middle of a (especially a surprise) and be the focal point. Moreso when those who know her knows she'd hate it. That's the kind of shit selfish parents do for themselves, not for their kid.

She'll appreciate a card sent without fan fare. As Juggs mentioned, I'm sure she just doesn't want the spot light on her, but it doesn't mean she wouldn't appreciate you acknowledging it.
