💪Brag Merino wool

Pretty fantastic.

37 degrees, windy in the shade. Merino wool beanie and thin hoodie and I’m completely warm. Better than any of the thick stuff I have, wool or otherwise. Well worth the money.

Good info. My native Floridian, never seen snow daughter is going to Utah in February. She is gonna freeze her ass off.

Oh she'll definitely need a heavy coat, too  It's a great base layer, but their ratings are not accurate. The thin hoodie I have says "down to 20 degrees" or something. Well that's horse shit. 40ish degrees, it'll work for a while, but 20? No way. And the type of cold would make a difference. In a very rare cold this weekend, it was a dry cold. 20 degrees and not a hint of frost in the morning. Yesterday, even with a higher temp, was colder to me outside and the humidity was higher. If she's up in the snow, yeah that's gonna get a bit nipply.

What I do in extreme cold; wear the thinnest leggings under other loose or stretchy pants; a tank top, regular shirt, fleece or other light jacket, puffer coat. Basically two outfits
