What do you weirdos do as a hobby?

Mine is fishing, mostly fly fishing, dig it so much I chuckle when guiding that people actually pay me to fish, or teach them to, definitely doesn’t feel like work. Gotten into fly tying, have been tying big ass streamers, to provoke a predatory response from big trout, never ever thought I’d be into tying flies.

Come on up Doc, I’ll take you out, anyone can get competent at it, casting comes naturally to no one, but once you learn it, then things start falling into place.

You certainly live in the right place for it. We've been going up thanksgiving week the last few years but I didn't fish. Was going up a few years in a row with an uncle and caught some nice trout.

I fish as well, but haven't done much as of late. Fishing buddied died last year put a stink on it. Having a 7 year old limits the number of hobbies I can have.

I fish as well. All salt water. Both with a spear and rod and reel. My favorite two activities are diving for lobsters and trolling for dolphin, wahoo, cobra and tuna.

As a kid my best friend's parents owned a hobby shop. I was into slot cars, rocketry, and rc airplanes. Also had an n-guage railroad that I have thought of getting into again.

Currently my only hobby is weight lifting. I used to play video games a lot but just haven't had any time for it. I tend to drift between hobbies so I never really get really good at anything

Damn this makes me jealous. We've been doing what few nature trails we have here. A few miles at best, but I haven't had a chance to get out in the woods or hunt since my parents moved. Or unless I'm in Tennessee.

It's fun... but fucking expensive.

What part of TN did they move to? We're going to be vacationing at one of the huge off-road parks, near Knoxville, this summer.

The closest thing to a "town" is Del Rio in the Cherokee National Forest. So about an hour NE of Gatlinburg.
