If he did it this past offseason, he would look like a man trying to improve the team.

Now he just looks like a guy trying to save his own ass.
 
Part of me says fire the mfr and let’s move on, part of me isn’t sure that’s pragmatic, but I don’t know shit, really none of us do, just know the obvious
 
They should fire him. I think he's a offensive genius and could do well if he would put the slightest effort in the shit he doesn't like (recruiting/non-dickhead approaches to the media), but his defense mechanism don't give a fuck attitude is hard to crawl out of. I don't know who we could get, but I can't imagine recruiting rebounding or him all the sudden giving a shit about losing.

Doesn’t sound like Mullens going anywhere, at least for another season. He best win out, prune more dead wood, and sign top shelf DC @ OL coaches, that can recruit like a mofo, and close strong in recruiting with a top 10 class. So much hinges on these hires.

He's a garbage ass recruiter so any coach that can recruit lights out would be an upgrade. At this point Dan is looking like a lost cause, so you have to take some risks to fix this mess.

Every hire since Spurrier, except Meyer, has been a risk. Mullen was supposed to be rock solid.

I really don't look forward to another 4 months of coaching search and all the bullshit it brings. Only thing I can hope for is he makes some good moves in the offseason and changes his fucking glib attitude.

Not holding my breath.
 
It's not just sticking to those guys, it's the 100 examples of him just not giving a fuck. I get it, his ego can't let him look like he's upset or let a failure look like a big deal, but it just isn't going to work being a smiling huckster right after getting your ass ran through.

Fuck him, I feel like it took me a long time to get there, but at least Zook cared.
 
Wonder how thin the ice is he’s on, ie does another loss get him whacked? I would think any loss and he’s gone, and he can take Stricklin with him.
 
If we lose to FSU I'm going to fire them myself. I don't know who we could beat right now honestly. We could field a team from this board and I think we could rush for 150.
