I put a news feed in the sidebar on the home page. Kind of makes the Florida Gators Firehose unnecessary and I feel like Newsbot posting dozens of stories every week is kind of annoying and increases the size of the database.
So I'm going to remove it unless there's an outcry of support for poor ol' Newsbot.
