🤔Ask TGB Executive orders you hate the most?

This one is absolutely bonkers pandering to liberal religion. Western Europeans won this continent because the “natives” were Stone Age people who couldn’t compete technologically. This has happened often in history. It’s absurd to impart some special inherited knowledge and require federal agencies to account for it.

Science doesn’t have every answer, I’m fine with the idea a farmer who has worked land may have special knowledge that may have passed down generationally that can’t be explained by currently understood science, but the idea that because someone has a genetic makeup of earlier setters is anti science and abhorrent

Interested to hear yours!

They directly conflated "Beliefs", in other words...mythology, with "knowledge". Those are not the same fucking thing.

Gainesville mayor got shit on badly on FB on a city article about his speech on Indigenous People's Day, which is obviously nothing more than a politically ploy to erase Columbus Day. The People were not having it. I had to bite my tongue since our daughters are best friends. The best I could do was, reply to one liberal who complained about the killing was to point out every single culture in the world has been the victim and conqueror. It didn't start with the white man and the Indians.

Sadly, one of Trumps... the bump stock ban. bought a bunch way back as an investment (way before las vegas) but i think it's been overturned since. He has a libertarian streak which i like, but ultimately he is a populist w that kind of stuff.
He's reactionary, he felt he had to do something and he did something that was ultimately rather benign. Still don't agree with it, but I'm curious if he would pander to anyone on the left in a second term after the bullshit they've pulled the last 4 years. I'm hoping not.

Yeah like why isn’t believing in the virgin birth science? Because it’s religion.

Not quite an EO but Title IX regs have seen some shit.

Before Trump, there were no federal regulations implementing Title IX AT ALL - just a bunch of "Dear Colleague" letters from the US Department of Education that many educational institutions took as guidance (but have no more than advisory legal weight in court). That led to a kind of wild west, with many universities eliminating men's sports programs and punishing men accused of sexual assault or harassment without any meaningful due process.

Then Trump comes along and sees that colleges are using Title IX to screw over innocent students and enacts what I thought were a pretty fair set of regulations that recognize due process for accused students.

Biden introduces new regs that undo some of those changes and further, favor trannies - thereby eviscerating Title IX's protections for actual women.
It's crazy.

All that said, the true indigenous people of the Americas had some amazing knowledge. The problem is that they died out. The "Native americans" we call indigenous were not the first people to settle in America. Their mythology and "knowledge" is remnants and hand me downs, but largely they were still rebuilding. It's why they were basically cavemen in comparison. There is virtually nothing to learn from North American natives. South American "natives", entirely different story.

Look I follow several Native American art and craft groups, I’m a big fan of their beadwork and other wearable art.

I just don’t think it is beneficial to have the long federal permitting process further slowed based on religious hogwash
