There is a very disturbing trend in Gainesville that has grown over the last couple years. I may not drink, but I still go to places, sit at the bar, and get a bite to eat.

5 years ago, you could go into any restaurant and were all but guaranteed to have a hot chick behind the bar. Men and middle aged chicks started to find their way behind the bar instead of the hotties. And out of all the times in the last year that I can recall when having gone out, not one single hot chick behind the bar. Not one. On rare occasion, it's a mildly attractive 40something woman, but 9 out of 10 times, it's a guy.

What the fuck is going on, Gainesville?

It is weird. When I was 15 or so scoring a case of beer was a weekend maker. None of my kids really drink. They do at parties and shit but when I was a kid we planned our nights around boozing.

My youngest, who is 18 now, I drink beers with him before we go into a concert, but my others are kinda meh on drinking.

But hot chicks can still make money pouring beers, they don't have to drink....

It is weird though that they drink less, like Irish said. As teens, our goal was to find some booze for the weekend.
