I could use Blue about now, but has anyone had Beef Bacon?

Came across it in a video online talking about how amazing it is. $13/lb not including high shipping costs, I'd rather a normal person vouch for it over a guy who gets a kickback for linking to an online butcher

Never had it, but regular bacon is pretty good on its own. I don't want to ruin it for me by trying something else.

I've only seen it used as an ingredient, not to replace regular bacon

yeah I had some before its kind of boring - you can't cook it the same.

I saw it cooked the same Well, not in strips like you were making bacon for breakfast. Chopped up when you're incorporating it into a dish, like collards or a hash.

yeah that makes sense. I think its like beef ribs or brisket vs. pork, it just isn't the same thing

Fair. Probably not worth it with shipping a frozen item.
