That was pretty intriguing. Seems to make a lot of sense, if everything he was saying is true.

I've seen pieces of that from various sources of the years. Some of it he's put together himself over the last few years. A lot of it is definitely true, as far as the climate and all of that of Africa prior to it becoming a barren wasteland. The erosion, erosion, land stuff all depends on if you believe that Randall Carlson, Graham Hancock, and others are right about the Taurid meteor stream causing the Younger Dryas impact 12,000 years ago. It literally all rests on whether or not you believe that happened. The geology would indicate yes, but who TF knows.

The Atlante/Atlantis people/mountains may be making a leap. No way of knowing how common the name was.

I'll tell you who don't believe in any of it, a YT channel I stumbled upon recently, Answers in Genesis. The most absurd channel. A preacher has tons of videos proving science is all a lie and the Bible is fact. The earth is 6,000 years old, the whole spiel. And the retards in the comments all say, "You just OBLITERATED science!" and buy into all of this. All he does is point to aspects of science, world history, cosmic history, etc. and then quotes the Bible and says, "SEE! The Bible says very specifically blah blah blah, so science is lying about carbon dating". I mean, he says dinosaurs were on Noah's Ark. I may or may not troll those retards. Fundamentalists are batshit crazy.

I won't speak for other Christians but for me personally, science doesn't disprove God or vice versa. If anything, it validates Him more and more as time goes by.

For me, God is the ultimate scientist.

I'm perfectly fine with that line of thought.

Unfortunately, if you're an absolute fundamentalist, you have to dismiss all science. I did ask them that if evolution is not real or possible, how did the human body adapt over time to the climate/geographical location in which they live. Or if all of science is a lie like he claimed, how is he giving this lecture on Youtube that is only capable of science through satellites, electricity, etc. Clearly mankind wasn't even remotely capable of such things when any of either Testament was written.

Yeah, I don't get too caught up in the 6,000 yrs vs evolution argument. I believe God created everything, HOW he went about it or how long it actually took I have no clue. I do know that God is usually all about the process and speculation as to how long a "day" is to God is rampant.

Ultimately, I don't care how or how long it took Him. None of that impacts the nuts and bolts of my everyday walk with Him.

Exactly. Getting caught up in what I consider trivial details is silly. But to say dinosaurs were on the Ark is just stupid. If Dino’s were alive just a few thousand years ago, their extinction event would have is living in a much different earth right own
