Last night I learned my memory of the day was a lie. I always thought I saw the 2nd plane hit live, but according to the timeline it would have been impossible. Memories are fucking weird.

Last night I learned my memory of the day was a lie. I always thought I saw the 2nd plane hit live, but according to the timeline it would have been impossible. Memories are fucking weird.

That's why eye witness testimonies of crimes that are personal to them or particularly gruesome are a terrible idea. Memories are tricky and often distorted. Especially when you hear, see, or tell stories that get intertwined with hearsay or whatever over and over through the years.

I was at work, so I didn't see shit. Someone told us about it and we got online. I only recall seeing the first plane footage and then everyone panicking about getting gas.....Because every single notable event in America means to clog up the gas stations
