Nothing like starting off the morning like talking shit on FB to self righteous Christians who rant about Christmas being about Jesus. And the one I really hate, how we're diminishing Jesus and traumatizing our children by lying to them about Santa, a magical man who's always watching us. How's that for cognitive dissonance?
How did generations and generations of children grow up believing in both Santa and Jesus and were never traumatized when finding out about Santa or being devastated that your parents lied to you your whole life? Yet it's a common sentiment with older Gen X and Boomers....I have to believe they're born agains, the most insufferable type of Christian.
